About me

Ever since I was young I have been interested in cars with posters on the bedroom wall and collecting car brochures from dealerships dreaming of owning one when I was older.

I have owned lots of classics and performance cars from tuned up Hillman Imps to Triumph Stags and lots of modern GTE's but my real passion is for Lotus which started when I saw a wonderful white Esprit in the Bond film the "Spy who loved me"

My first Lotus was a 89 Excel SE (bright red) which I still think is one of the best 2+2's ever produced. It was two years old when I bought it so I never needed to do any work on it during the short time I owned it.

I now own a bright orange 72 Elan Sprint FHC which I have owned for several years now. The car is in good condition and most of the parts are new or reconditioned but I am always looking for ways to make it more reliable and useable. Hopefully eliminating potential weak spots and design faults.
